Street art becomes more and more popular. There are people who admire it and those who would wanna destroy it. It depends not only on the viewer, but on the artist. If the painting is breathtaking and have meaning plenty of people will stop and think about this piece of art.
The most recognizable name for art street is graffiti. It’s worth to consider are writing that have been not only painted but also scribbled or even sticked on a wall or different surface. It’s often made illicitly within public view. Photo wallpapers which are glued in the cities’ walls becomes more often popular. This way of street art is not that expensive and quicker to apply on the wall. Some artists clamis that it isn’t art anymore. Nevertheless plenty of street artist use the technique – spread even more street art paintings all over the area or even world. Nowadays people who are involved in this culture form communities with their own values and logos. They unite all over the world and they have their own way to recognise themselves.
Besides photo wallpapers the other modern technique is stencil graffi. The first examples were painted in 1981 by graffiti artist Blek le Rat in the capital of France, or in ’82 by Jef Aerosol in Tours . It is also quite “lazy” way to paint graffiti and not all the artist would do it. Nevertheless it is widelly accepted and even extremally fabulous artists do it e.g. Banksy or John Fekner.
Another admirable type of modern art are wall murals streets – Obviously, a mural is any piece of artwork painted or put directly on a wall, ceiling. Considering this fact it might be confusing what exactly mural is, if not big wallpaper can be a mural in every case.
In common language mural is a huge painting covering significant part of the buildings’ wall.
